Children in Class 2 were given the opportunity of a two day residential visit to Bellever this term. We stayed at YHA Dartmoor Hostel overnight and completed a range of team-building games and outdoor adventurous activities.
On arriving at the youth hostel, the children were responsible for making their own beds, unpacking their belongings and settling in to their home for the next 24 hours. Later that day we enjoyed a hike to Bellever Tor in very wet and windy conditions, with a detour to a Bronze Age hut circle. Other highlights of the trip include an archery workshop, teambuilding games such as the Tower of Hanoi and candle making with links to bees and ponies on Dartmoor.
As you can see from the photos, we all had a great time and are thoroughly looking forward to the opportunities that next term will offer.
