Class 1 were extermely lucky last week to be involved in Shakespeare Week and work with The Minack Theatre in Cornwall. The children were treated to a daily story-telling video learning, act by act, the tale of Macbeth. The Minack had provided wonderful resources to support their understanding of the story and each day the children completed a short written task. These included: a diary entry, a newspaper report, a speech and a Wanted poster. We all enjoyed watching the amazing scenery from the outdoor theatre and noticing the changing weather throughout the week. Everyone was really engaged and the children able to talk about Macbeth with confidence, this was a great introduction to this classical text.
