Class 1 learns about Synagogues

Class 1 set up the classroom so that the girls were separated from the boys.

We learned about the features of synagogues through an interesting film clip.

We then looked carefully at artefacts found in a synagogue and discussed their important features and how they link to the Jewish belief in one God.

Some of us wore coverings for our heads, because Jewish people do this as a sign of respect to God.
