This term our Year 6 children and half of Year 5 are attending Forest School on Monday afternoons. This week the children learnt how to do Ancient Nordic weaving, they also had the chance to explore the site and be ‘present’ in the natural environment. After a safety briefing, they were able to use the mud kitchen and play equipment along with lighting the camp fire and making hot chocolate to share at the end of the session.
Staff commented on how lovely it was to see such happy, smiling faces enjoying the session. We look forward to seeing more great pictures over the coming weeks.
