Pupils from Class 1 represented the school at the ‘Let’s Dance Festival’ at South Dartmoor Community College as part of the Dartmoor Sports Partnership last week. They had worked with Mrs Wenman to put together a superb number called, ‘Time Warp’. The dance took the audience through time travel and included different styles of dance from different time periods, including ‘Pride and Prejudice’, a 1950’s jive, the swinging 60s and a more recent street dance- Hot, hot, hot! Thank you to the staff who helped with costumes and those who attended to suport the pupils.
It was a fabulous show and one we are always delighted to be a part of. The range of dancers from both primary and secondary schools were all amazing and it is really wonderful to pick up some new ideas for dance for future performances.
We also appreciated parents for coming to support their children, it made it a very special evening.
