We are thrilled to welcome back Mrs Wenman, who has resumed her role teaching Dance every Thursday this half term. Her expertise and enthusiasm have already made a significant impact, particularly with Class 1, as they work together to create a captivating routine for their upcoming assembly.
It’s been a joy to observe Mrs Wenman getting acquainted with our new EYFS children, introducing them to fundamental steps and movements. The pupils have embraced these early dance lessons with great excitement and energy. Taking advantage of the lingering summer sunshine, lessons have been held outdoors, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience.
Throughout the academic year, every pupil will have the opportunity to work with Mrs Wenman, which we believe is a fantastic addition to our curriculum. These dance sessions offer a multitude of benefits, not only enhancing our pupils’ fitness levels but also refining their sense of rhythm and musicality. It’s wonderful to see how dance can contribute to their overall development and well-being.
We’re looking forward to seeing the progress our pupils make in their dance skills and the creative performances that will undoubtedly emerge from these sessions. The positive impact of Mrs Wenman’s classes is already evident, and we’re excited to see how this will flourish throughout the year.
