Pupils in Class 3 were really excited today when they recieved a visit from Bryher, the fell pony. This week they are finding out all about farm animals and reading the Julia Donaldson book, ‘A Squash and a Squeeze’. The children couldn’t believe their eyes when their visitor arrived accompanied by Mrs Weeks, one of our Governors and Mrs Scobie, one of our grandparents.
The children asked some super questions such as, ‘How long have you had her?’, ‘What type of pony is she?’, ‘How old is she?’ and ‘What does she ike to eat?’
Everyone had the chance to stroke Bryher and have a really close look at her.
What a great opporutnity to get up close to such a wonderful animal!
