Last Friday, Class 1 were extremely lucky to attend a performance of the Bournemouth Symphony Orcehstra held at The Great Hall, Exeter University.
The event was entitled: Explore the Orchestra: Midnight Magic; the children learnt about the different instruments and they learnt a song using body precussion so they could actively join in. The orchestra played a variety of music taking the audience on a journey through the nighttime from going to bed ,to waking in the morning.

I liked the way the music took you on an adventure.
I liked how the orchestra played high and then low….I especially loved the theme tune from Harry Potter.
I loved all of it, Harry Potter was my favourite bit; it has inspired me to learn the violin!
I loved the music and how the orchestra played, it was really impressive.
I really enjoyed the different types of music and it took you on a trip.
