Class 1 and 2 took part in an national online assembly yesterday with thousands of other children from around the UK. The workshop reminded pupils how to stay safe online. Pupils were introduced to a free online game called ‘Interland’ https://beinternetawesome.withgoogle.com/en_us/interland It encourages the children to embark on an adventure and use the skills of being: sharp, alert, secure, kind and brave, they explore various lands and progress to the next level. Whilst playing the game, they are recapping and revisiting some key elements of staying safe online but in a fun and interactive environment. Feedback from the children was positive.
