Class 3 were very lucky this week, as they had the opportunity to meet Beeble the ‘Pets as Therapy’ dog who will be visiting school regularly.
Beeble will be visiting the school to listen to different groups of children read throughout the term, to help readers gain confidence and feel less under pressure while reading. Beeble’s owner, Ruth, taught Class 3 how to greet a dog and let it get to know you without making it feel scared. She talked to us about Beeble’s likes and dislikes and what her favourite food is!
