We are incredibly grateful to the PFA, along with the brilliant members of our community, for running the refreshment stall at the recent Cockwood Shanty Festival. It was a very busy weekend, with over 40 shanty groups performing in and around the village, and the stall certainly felt the rush.
Bacon rolls, pasties, cakes, drinks, snacks — you name it, they were serving it, and they barely had a moment to stop. The teamwork, smiles, and energy were fantastic to see.
A special shout‑out goes to everyone who kindly donated cakes. They were hugely appreciated and helped us keep the stall stocked throughout the weekend.
Thank you all for your time, effort, and generosity. What a brilliant community we have and how super it was to see the school working alongisde other groups in the village, a real sense of community spirit.
