Class 1 has recently received a class-set of iPads, which are supporting the implementation of Magma Maths for Years 4 and 5.
This innovative online platform is transforming our mathematics lessons. Mrs Mitchell can now stream pupils’ work directly onto the whiteboard, allowing for real-time monitoring and immediate identification of learning misconceptions. The technology enables our pupils to work at their own pace, creating a more personalised learning experience.
The feedback has been incredibly positive. Our pupils are showing remarkable enthusiasm and engagement with the new approach. They particularly appreciate the interactive features, such as the ability to ask the teacher for help or use a ‘hint’ button when needed.
We’re thrilled with the initial results and see tremendous potential in this approach. We’re planning to roll out this digital learning strategy across Key Stage 2 from September, which represents an important step in our commitment to innovative and supportive learning methods.
