Last week, we were thrilled to offer a group of pupils from Class 1 and 2 an extraordinary musical experience. Miss Buttree accompanied these fortunate children to Powderham Castle for one of the captivating ‘Music in the Castle’ events. The pupils were treated to a mesmerising recital by Thomas Kelly, a world-renowned pianist, who graciously shared the incredible journey of his musical career with our young audience.
This outing provided our pupils with a wonderful opportunity to immerse themselves in a diverse range of musical genres, from the timeless compositions of Debussy to contemporary arrangements. The chance to enjoy this cultural experience within the awe-inspiring setting of the Music Room at Powderham Castle was truly exceptional.
We believe that exposing our pupils to such high-calibre performances in remarkable venues will ignite their imaginations and inspire them to pursue their own passions and hobbies with renewed enthusiasm.
